If you have purchased a new bolt buffer or hex bolt from us on Ebay, or any other part from our huge on-line discount store at CheapGunParts.com, we have built this site to help you get it installed without any fuss, and installed correctly!

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO THOSE INSTALLING A HAMMER OR TRIGGER KIT FOR THE FIRST TIME!!
The new geometry that will occur with the install of your parts may cause your trigger units safety button to no longer function.
After installing parts (This is common in ALL BRAND TRIGGER HAMMERS AND trigger kits, even matched hammer/sear kits),
AND MAKING SURE YOUR RIFLE IS UNLOADED AND THE MAGAZINE OUT,
point your 10/22 rifle in a safe direction, then pull your bolt handle to cock the rifle, and then see if the safety button will engage (and if it does engage, pull the trigger and see if the hammer drops).
If it does engage and the hammer does not drop, then all is well.
But, if the safety button does not go all the way in (do not try and force it), then a slight modification will be needed to your trigger units sear.
We have provided a link to show you what this modification involves (simply removing a little metal with a file or stone from the safety end of the sear) with detailed photos like these:
